Muktinath is a popular Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, located in Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorong Lamountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. It is the one of the highest temples in the world (built at an altitude of 3800m). The site is close to the village of Ranipauwa, which is sometimes mistakenly called Muktinath.
